God is Always Working His Plan

During my devotional time this morning I was reading out of the book of Proverbs as I seldom do. It is a book filled with wisdom that we can apply in our every day lives and in every aspect.

But are we always listening when wisdom is speaking?

Sometimes we can be so full of complaints, disappointments and plain outrage that we become so overwhelmed by our emotions that we cause God’s voice to drown in our heightened fears.

Yes, there is so much going on in our present world that we can validate our reason for outpouring our real thoughts and feelings.

However, before we become so entangled with the vicissitudes of life we must remember that there isn’t anything that can occur that God has not prepared Himself to deal with.  This includes every minor and major happening.

There is no lemonade too sour to be made sweet. There is no situation too chaotic to produce peace. There is no force too evil that God can not use for good.

We often do not see the alternative outcome while we are in the midst of the situation. Storms do tend to cloud our vision. Even in the storms of life, we must remember God’s declaration in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you…plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

God’s decree for our lives has already been validated.

There is no disaster, evil act or force that can change the outcome of His plan. And you know what else? God is always working His plan!

“The LORD works out everything for his own ends” (Proverb 16:4a).

You are a part of God’s plan. Whatever is going on in your life right now will not alter God’s plan. Whatever news report you hear or read that sets off a panic alarm in your mind, it will not alter God’s plan.

Rest assured that God is always working His plan!
