“O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens” (Psalm 8:1, KJV).

Recently, I read articles and other literature on how scientists and theologians have been trying for centuries to understand the dynamics of life, nature and mankind. I do believe that at some point in all our lives, if not daily, we see, hear or experience something that makes us have an ‘Arsenio Hall’ moment.

Yes, life will leave you in a state of awe.

Taking the time to admire will cause you to appreciate.  It doesn’t matter what the object is. Think about it. Pause for a moment and observe your surroundings.

What do you see?

The sky that continuously paints a picture of clouds, stars, the sun, the moon and sporadically pour out water and sprinkle snow. No man can take credit for this.

What else do you see?

The land that holds trees, grass, buildings, animals and people. No man can take absolute credit for this.

Consider closing  your eyes and visualize how life is maneuvering where you are and also occurring thousands of miles from your destination. Everyone is able to see the same general surroundings as you. No man can take credit for this.

While your eyes are still closed ponder about the thoughts you are having right now. No man can know your thoughts unless you reveal them. How are you able to have these thoughts? How are you able to have your feelings?

There is something unique about you.  It’s in your DNA that no man can take credit for!

“When I consider the heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which though hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?” (v. 3-4).

There are many things that we can have knowledge about, yet, even then they are unexplainable. You have experienced the unexplainable in your life. It is the ‘basic’ things; breathing, your heart beat, your senses.  And it is the major things; child birth, recovering from a traumatic car accident, being delivered from the report of a terminal illness.

But the GOD of the Unexplainable continues to manifest His glory in your life!

He has done it before, He is doing it now and He will continue to do it.

What in your life seems unimaginable? What needs do you have that you can’t explain to anyone else? Do you trust your Creator GOD, the one who designed your perfect body right down to the cells to be able to give your body a tune up?

What problem do you currently have that seems too hard?  Is there anything to hard for the LORD (Genesis 18:14)?

GOD’s work is unexplainable. Will you allow Him to do a great work in you, His creation?

Whatever problem you have right now, I challenge you to hold your complaints and choose three things to admire. According to Webster’s Dictionary, admire means “to regard with wonder and delight; to esteem highly”. It is not the thing that your are praising, but it’s Creator.

When was the last time you admired the works of GOD within you?
