Today’s In the Spirit Realm Devotional
“The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” Psalm 145:18
Bring God Your Truth: Have you ever tried to sell something that was damaged or broken? It could have been a clothing item, a car or house. As the seller, you are aware of the condition your item is in. You know how it has been mishandled, torn and the bumps and bruises it has received from every day usage. Yet, you want and need to receive a profit from something you have invested time, energy and money in. You try to hide the unpleasant marks, wear and tear and malfunctions so that what you are selling appears to look good from the outside. No matter how you try to beautify the outer truth, the issues on the inside will eventually surface and become a greater problem.
WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SELL GOD?
“A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is His delight.” -Proverbs 11:1
Spiritual Manifestation: God wants His people on point, so it is nothing wrong with putting on our Sunday’s best when we go to our places of worship. We might appear to have it all together to others when we dress for success each day, but God is not fooled. No, God doesn’t require that we showcase our hurts or publicly announce our weaknesses. But He does want us to bring Him the truth about our circumstances. He wants to know how that relationship really damaged us. He wants to know how that last rejection really discouraged us. Not because He is not aware of it, but because He wants us to be honest with him. We don’t have to sell God a false pretense in order for Him to accept us. He is willing and ready to heal us so that we can be better.
So remember, you don’t have to be somebody else with God. Acknowledge the truth about yourself and your situation and bring that to God. Watch Him work, because it’s Manifestation Time!
