“I am the LORD,” he says, “and there is no other. I publicly proclaim bold promises. I do not whisper obscurities in some dark corner. I would not have told the people of Israel to seek me if I could not be found. I, the LORD, speak only what is true and declare what is right” (Isaiah 45:18b-19, NLT).
Proclaiming His Truth: In case you missed the memo, we are in the season where men and women have itching ears, nothing is considered sacred and the well respected are compromising (ref. 2 Timothy 3), but what is our charge as spiritual leaders and as Christians? What is our agenda? Are we to allow our earthly titles or positions override our beliefs for fear of losing a popularity contest or making our neighbors feel uncomfortable? In Malcolm X words, “If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything.”
“He made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos” (45:18).
Spiritual Manifestation: God has not given us a spirit of fear and He has given us the boldness that we need to be His representatives here in the earth realm. Regardless of our personal interests, careers, political stance, since we have confess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, His truth (not ours) should be at the top of our agendas and platforms. He gives us peace within ourselves, but as the lifted Scripture says, He did not expect us to live in this world without encountering problems. God has given us the power and authority to stand against the enemy and if God is for us, who can be against us (Rom.8:31)? Walking in Obedience to the Word of God, releases blessings in our lives. Can God count on us to stand firm on His Word even in THIS SEASON?
With Love in the Spirit,
