Minimizing in order to Maximize

Answer to Bible Trivia (1.18.11): Ecclesiastes 12:14

“They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise!” Romans 1:25 NLT

Minimizing in order to Maximize: How great is our GOD?  How great is GOD in your life? Every day living reveals to us the magnitude of GOD’s greatness.  Sometimes it is not until we have minimized GOD, by not making Him priority in our lives, that we realize He is no longer reigning as Master.  GOD has given man everything needed in the natural and spiritual realms, in order to execute our purpose in life. We must be cautious not to serve the things that GOD has created for our provision, giving them glory, instead of the Omnipotent One.

“But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.” 1 John 4:4 NLT

Spiritual Manifestation: This week lets accept the challenge of minimizing the things that are elevated in our lives: people, circumstances, material things and anything that holds a great deal of our attention, time and daily intake.  We do not necessarily have to rid ourselves of these things, although this might be the case in some areas, but we want to minimize them in our lives so that GOD can become maximized.  He is greater than every spirit and being in hell, on earth and the heavens. Choose to make GOD greater!

With Love in the Spirit
